3 Long-Weekend Projects

These are some great projects for the upcoming long weekend; especially, if you're planning to sell in the Fall!

1. Clean Up Your Exterior

This can include

• Tidy the garden
• Stain patios & fences
• Paint front door
• Replace old rusted
•     Door
•     Hardware
•     Mailbox
• New weatherstripping/caulking
• Repair steps
• Add fall planter baskets
• Pressure wash siding (Be Careful!)
• Clean exterior windows

2. Declutter Inside

• Get rid of anything you're no longer using and wouldn't move to a new house.
• Have a yard sale or Marketplace sale.
• Donate items and clothing (Neighbourhood; a Choices for Youth social enterprise; located at 38 Pearson Street)
• Go to the dump! Address piled up recycling. (IMPACT Construction, another Choices for Youth social enterprise, does dump runs.)

3. Clean & Freshen Up

Nothing sells a home better than an ultra-clean and fresh home.

Get to Deep Cleaning

(Or hire a great cleaner who is skilled at deep cleans. Like Maid to Sparkle)

Get Painting!

A fresh coat of popular neutral paint (particularly, white paint like Benjamin Moore Simply White) is a fantastic way to add maximum appeal to your prospective buyers.
