Did you know that maintaining your home is the number one way to retain its value? Here’s our Home Maintenance Checklist for the Month of November.
Test smoke alarms, carbon-monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and all GFCI outlets.
Have your furnace professionally inspected. (Annually)
Have your wood-burning appliances professionally inspected by a WETT inspector. (Annually)
Clean your wood-burning appliances in preparation for the season.
Inspect heating sources and outlets in detached accessory buildings for damage.
Wrap water lines in unheated accessory buildings.
Top up insulation in the attic; check for rebates.
Clean the filter in your HRV and, if applicable, furnace. (Quarterly)
