Check windows and doors for leaks and drafts.
Replace weatherstripping and door sweeps on exterior doors.
Repair window cranks and lifting mechanisms.
Repair damaged window seals (foggy glass) and cracked window panes.
Ensure window and door locking mechanisms are properly functioning.
Inspect exterior foundation for cracks/gaps; seal and repair as necessary.
Inspect the basement for any signs of leaks, moisture or dampness.
