Did you know a buyer decides on if they're going to buy your home within 11 SECONDS of seeing it?

Yep.

The rest of the time they're in the house they're justifying their initial decision.

So, people do really judge books by their covers.

This is Part 2 of our series, so if you missed last week, make sure you check out the exterior tips.

Here are 10 interior tips on how to win the buyer and sell your home in 11 seconds.

Entry
1. Have the whole house immaculately clean. Clean the carpets, the baseboards, the light fixtures - Everything!
2. Ensure the porch is neat & tidy; none of your shoes, coats or bags in sight.
3. Organize your hall closet and have just the minimum in there.
4. Have the lights on and ensure all bulbs work.
5. During cold weather, have the heat on.
6. Stage the entry according to size. If it doesn't clutter the space, a little table, bench, or chair is a lovely addition.
7. Have a nice indoor mat for wet-weather days.
8. Do not use candles, air fresheners, or plug-ins; people are allergic and think you have something to hide.
9. Hide all personal items identifying you & any pets with the house.
10. Bonus: Have soft music playing.
