Key facts:

• Online application required

• First come, first serve basis

• Must be pre-approved for a mortgage by a recognized financial institution.

• Must be first-time home buyers

• Maximum purchase price of $350,000 (St. John’s Metro)

• Household income < $85,000 for 100% eligibility

• Household income up to $95,000 for partial eligibility 

Program amount: 

• Repayable loan of up to 5% of purchase price 

• IE: Up to the total sum of the required downpayment

• Repayment must start after 5 years

• Grant of up to 50% of the legal closing costs, up to $1,500
