Will We See Less Competition for Homes in 2024?

Last week we covered whether we'll see more homes for sale in 2024, so this is a natural follow up. 

With new home listings still on the low side, it is likely we will continue to see competition for well priced and well presented homes, at least in the first part of the year. 

If you are a buyer: this means being prepared and work with agent that has the strategy to help you win. 

If you're a seller this means: you can't price your home out to lunch and sell it as buyers are price sensitive and understand market value. You still need to work with a great agent to price and present appropriately but it is absolutely a good year to sell your home.
